Meet Wei
Founder & Interior Designer

Brief Info
Background
Shanghai · Japan · Sydney
Born in Shanghai, raised through much of her childhood in Japan, and now based in Sydney, Wei brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work. Her design approach is shaped by different ways of living, making and experiencing space, allowing her to create interiors that feel both globally informed and deeply personal.
Design Philosophy
Simplicity · Balance · Wabi-sabi
Wei’s years in Japan cultivated an appreciation for simplicity, order and thoughtful functionality, alongside a sensitivity to wabi-sabi — the quiet beauty found in natural materials, imperfection and restraint. Living in Australia has further enriched this perspective, inspiring a strong connection to landscape, natural light and the relaxed relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Material & Lifestyle
Natural Materials · Texture · Coastal Living
With years of experience in interior design, Wei is drawn to natural materials, tactile textures and spaces that feel warm, grounded and effortless rather than overly designed. As an avid freediver and spearfisher, her connection to the ocean naturally influences her work, particularly through her affinity for coastal homes and interiors that respond harmoniously to their surroundings.
Communication
English · Mandarin · Japanese
Fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese, Wei welcomes clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. She believes that the most meaningful spaces begin with open conversations, mutual understanding and an exchange of ideas between designer and client.
