This large-scale renovation was designed to give an established family home a new life while preserving the character and integrity of the original house.

Working within the existing structure, the layout was carefully reconfigured around the family’s lifestyle and everyday needs. Selected walls were removed to improve flow and create more functional, connected spaces, while new functions were introduced throughout the home to support contemporary family living.

Rather than rebuilding, the transformation focused on reimagining what was already there. Flooring, wall finishes and surface materials were completely renewed, creating a fresh and cohesive interior while allowing the original character of the house to remain part of its identity.

The result is a home that feels familiar yet entirely renewed — retaining the soul of the original house while giving it a new interior life shaped around the people who live there.
